Yenepoya (Deemed-to-be University), established in 2008, is a NAAC A+ accredited institution committed to academic excellence, innovation and societal transformation. The B.Sc. Respiratory Therapy Programme, established in 2016 at Yenepoya (Deemed-to-be University), and the M.Sc. Programme, introduced in 2023 under the Yenepoya School of Allied Health Sciences (YSAHS), are structured to develop competent respiratory care professionals through comprehensive academic and clinical training. The curriculum integrates comprehensive programs that equip students with advanced clinical skills to manage respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, utilizing modern facilities such as simulation labs and intensive care units under expert faculty supervision.
The programmes emphasise clinical competence, patient safety, ethical practice, effective communication, and critical thinking, with postgraduate students receiving additional training in research and advanced clinical practice. The department is supported by eight experienced and qualified faculty members. Graduates demonstrate strong employability, with consistent and successful placement outcomes.
