To be eligible for admission a candidate shall have obtained a bachelor degree in B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from a university established under law considered equivalent thereto by Yenepoya (Deemed to be University). The candidate shall have obtained minimum of 50% aggregate of marks in all the years of university examination of degree course.
In case of SC/ST/OBC candidates the minimum marks shall be 45%.
Graduates with masters degree in medical lab technology can find work with the job profile of lab manager, healthcare administrator, hospital outreach coordinator, supervisors of clinical laboratories & teaching faculties. Managerial careers within the laboratory departments are also possible, as is pursuing further education or research.
