Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) is a 2-year program offered by Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) which is accredited by the All-India Occupational Therapy Association (AIOTA) and is associated with the World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT)
The course offers the following specializations:
- MOT in Musculoskeletal Conditions
- MOT in Neurosciences
Eligibility Criteria:
- The students who have passed with a minimum of 50 % marks in Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (4.5 years duration) from Institutions where the mode of study is a full-time program in universities considered equivalent by Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) are eligible.
Scope:
In Hospitals, Special Schools, Rehabilitation centre, Geriatric home - Occupational Therapist can work individually can diagnose, plan the treatment plan, give appropriate therapy for physical as well as for psychiatric problems. OTst can open their own clinic and rehabilitation centre. Master of OT Can work as teaching faculty in government or Private colleges as administrators and educators.
