M.Sc. Respiratory Therapy

Eligibility Criteria:

• The students who have passed with minimum of 50 % marks in B.Sc. Respiratory Care Technology / Respiratory Therapy /B.Sc. Critical Care Therapy from institutions where mode of study is a full-time program with an internship of 1 year in universities or 1 year clinical experience is considered equivalent by Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University.

Scope:

Respiratory Therapist: Respiratory therapists work in hospitals in the intensive care units (Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal), on hospital floors, in Emergency Departments, in Pulmonary Functioning laboratories (PFTs), sleep labs, and rehabilitation and home care settings; and are able to perform various non-invasive and invasive procedures.They can also work in academic field as Assistant Professors.
