The students who have passed with minimum of 50 % in B.Sc. RCT/RT or B.Sc. Critical Care Therapy from institutions where mode of study is a full time program with internship in Universities considered equivalent by Yenepoya ( Deemed to be) University are eligible for M.Sc. Respiratory Therapy program. Candidates completing B.Sc. RCT/RT or B.Sc. Critical Care Therapy through correspondence course shall not be eligible.
In case of SC/ST/OBC candidates the minimum marks shall be 45%.
Respiratory Therapist: Respiratory therapists work in hospitals in the intensive care units (Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal), on hospital floors, in Emergency Departments, in Pulmonary Functioning laboratories (PFTs), sleep labs, and rehabilitation and home care settings; and are able to perform various non-invasive and invasive procedures.They can also work in academic field as Assistant Professors.
