Stalls for Charity: A fundraiser while observing World AIDS Day

Yenepoya School of Allied Health Sciences:
The NSS Units 6, 8 and 13 in collaboration with the Youth Red Cross, organized a Stalls for Charity: A fundraiser while observing World AIDS Day. The event showcased the spirit of service towards the community. The event featured 11 stalls set up by various departments of Allied Health Sciences, offering a variety of stalls serving food, games and more.
The proceeds from all sales during the event were earmarked for donation to a local orphanage, emphasizing the commitment of the organizers and participants to social responsibility and community welfare.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. B.H. Shripathi Rao, Pro Vice Chancellor, Yenepoya Deemed to be University and Dr. Sunita Saldanha, Dean of Allied Health Sciences, who graced the occasion with their presence and encouragement.

The fundraiser not only aimed to generate financial support for the orphanage but also highlighted the importance of teamwork, creativity, and service among the students and faculty involved.

The event was a resounding success, demonstrating the collective efforts of NSS Units 6, 8 and 13 led by Ms. Swati Kumari, Ms. Apoorva Shetty and Mr. Adithya G Rao, the Youth Red Cross led by Ms. Akshitha, and the Allied Health Sciences departments in making a positive impact on society.
