The event was collaboratively organized by NSS Units 19 and 20, in conjunction with the Department of Occupational Therapy.

The program was conducted on "Christmas and New Year Program: An Occupational Therapy Initiative"

on December 26th, 2024,

at Olavinahalli Rehabilitation Centre.

There the student volunteers engaged residents in a variety of meaningful activities. The program was thoughtfully designed by the students to promote socialization, creativity, and festive cheer among the residents.

The highlights of the program included:

  • No-bake cooking activities, which encouraged residents to participate in a fun and adaptive culinary experience.
  • Carol singing, which brought joy and festive spirit to the gathering and Christmas story telling.

The students took the initiati to manage and lead the events as well as facilitate the activities.

Following the activities, we shared the delicious desserts prepared during the no-bake cooking session with everyone, further fostering a sense of community.
