The Department of Occupational Therapy organized an awareness program titled "Caregiver Education and Training on Shoulder Care for Stroke Survivors" with the aim of enhancing caregivers' knowledge and skills in preventing and managing shoulder subluxation commonly seen after stroke.
The session began with a welcome address, followed by an inaugural speech by the Chief Guest, Dr. Gururaja H. Principal YAMCH, who highlighted the importance of caregiver involvement in post-stroke rehabilitation. The Head of the Department, Dr. Prerna Lal (OT), addressed the participants and emphasized the role of occupational therapy in improving the quality of life of stroke survivors.
