Candidate needs to secure 40% or above marks in the 10+2 to be eligible for admission. For SC/ST/OBC candidates minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is a 35% mark.
Lateral Entry: Candidates with 2 years / 3 years diploma recognized by the Paramedical Board of Karnataka Government in a subject for which the candidate desires to enroll, is eligible to take admission to the 3rd semester of BSc of the same course provided he or she has passed 2nd year Pre University examination or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, as principal subjects or should have studied Physics, chemistry and biology as principal subjects during the tenure of the course.
After successful completion of a B.Sc. in Medical Imaging Technology course, the graduates can work in healthcare settings as a Radiology Technologist, CT/MRI Technologist, Radiation Safety Officers (RSO), Application Specialists in Companies, Clinical sales specialists of Imaging Equipment, and technical supervisors and clinical supervisors.
