World Kidney Day 2026 Beach Clean Up Drive

About the Program:
As part of World Kidney Day 2026 celebrations, the Unit of Renal Dialysis Technology, YSAHS organized a Beach Cleanup Drive in association with Yenepoya Institute of Nephro Urology (YMCH) and NSS Units 1, 2 & 9.
The drive was conducted in alignment with the World Kidney Day theme, "Kidney Health for All: Caring for People, Protecting the Planet." Students, faculty members, and NSS volunteers actively participated in cleaning the beach premises, promoting environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
The event was organized not only to promote environmental responsibility but also to provide meaningful experiential learning opportunities for students, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation through proper waste management and responsible disposal of plastics.
The program was successfully carried out with enthusiastic participation and teamwork.
